Welcome to Blue Moai Studio! We create wood sculptures and custom furniture. All of the wood for our art pieces comes from "found" wood. We've never cut a tree down just to create a piece. We've even gone up to complete strangers to ask for logs from their burn pile! We never let anything go to waste!  Our yard is full of wood from hurricane IKE!

The wood for our furniture pieces is rough cut lumber that we mill to meet your custom specifications. Doing it this way also helps to maximize the lumber. We use the wood shavings from the milling for our pets or donate to the wildlife rehab center.
